Here's a fun way for the youngest ones to get their start in theatre! This non-stressful approach to basic acting will teach your star how to twinkle! This class will work on imagination, memorization and working together. The ability to read is not necessary. A brief showcase featuring what they have learned will be presented for family and friends on Saturday November 20th. This class is for students who want to focus on acting, singing and dancing in musical theatre. The program is designed to benefit children of all ability and experience levels. Students must have basic reading skills. The class will conclude with a performance of selections from "School House Rock". StarWorks is an active and exciting class for teens to study acting. Students will also learn about theatre history, developing a character, building confidence and audition skills. Students of any experience level are encouraged to attend! This class will be taught by Kate Michalski, a 2009 graduate of Point Park University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. A minimum of 10 students is required for this class. Instructor: Kate Michalski 10 week session for $140
This technical theatre class shows what goes on behind the scenes, as students work alongside real-life “techies” to experience their craft. Taught with a hands-on approach, this course will explore the world of lighting, sound and stagecraft while seeing the process needed to build a show. Instructor: Sarah Nicholas. 7 week session for $105
